Originalmente, las rosas eran todas blancas, pero un día la diosa Venus, mientras corría para cumplir con uno de sus amantes, puso un pie en un grupo de estas flores con las espinas erectas. Las rosas se húmedaron con su sangre, se sonrojaron de vergüenza a la vez y se quedaron de ese color para siempre.
Originariamente le rose erano tutte bianche ma un giorno la dea Venere, mentre correva incontro ad uno dei suoi innamorati, mise un piede su un cespuglio di tali fiori e le spine la punsero. Le rose, bagnate dal suo sangue, per la vergogna arrossirono all’istante e rimasero di tale colore per sempre.
