In the thirteenth century Gubbio alone prospered, growing from the point of view is urban, and economic, and demographic. In 1263, the Guelphs took power, which held it until 1350 except for brief periods, as when, in 1300, Gubbio was occupied by troops of the Ghibelline count of Icicle (Uberto Malatesta) and Uguccione Faggiuola.
Except for short interruptions for Malatesta and Cesare Borgia, the city remained the Montefeltro took over until 1508 when, in the domain of the city, the Della Rovere, who held it until 1624 when, with the death of Francesco Maria II della Rovere , the last heir of the family, all assets and all estates went, as testamentary will, to the Papal State.

Salvo brevi interruzioni per le signorie dei Malatesta e di Cesare Borgia, la città rimase ai Montefeltro fino al 1508 quando subentrarono, nel dominio della città, i Della Rovere, che lo tennero fino al 1624 quando, con la morte di Francesco Maria II Della Rovere, ultimo erede della casata, tutti i beni e tutti i feudi passarono, come da volontà testamentaria, allo stato pontificio.

No Fabrizio, questa non mi convince. Il b/n non è molto inciso ma ci può stare (gusti personali, ovviamente), quello che non trovo “pungente” della foto è proprio il soggetto: se la sentinella è il fanale, la cosa non è chiara, visto come esso si perde il gioco dei tetti. Forse un punto di vista migliore, forse un’interpretazione diversa dello scatto. Ah, quelle antenne gridano vendetta!

Se non ci fossero le antenne sul tetto e se al posto della lampade elettrica ci fosse una candela (ma le strade nel medioevo non credo fossero illuminate durante la notte) il b/n dà proprio l’idea nel salto nel passato storico che racconti nella didascalia.
