When I returned to Rome from Gaul and Spain, in the consulship of Tiberius Nero and Publius Quintilio, to successfully accomplish tasks in those provinces, the Senate decreed that they should dedicate an altar to Peace in Augustan Campus Martius and ordered it judges, priests and vestal virgins celebrate an annual sacrifice. \”
And \’With these words in the Res Gestae Augustus, his spiritual testament, gave us the will of the Senate to build an altar to Peace, as a result of the companies he completed north of the Alps between 16 and 13 BC including the placing of nets and Vindel, the final check of the Alps, a visit to Spain finally at peace, the foundation of new settlements and the imposition of new taxes.
The design for the new museum complex of the Ara Pacis was written by Richard Meier & Partners Architects, a U.S. study that you have some of the most important museums of the second half of the twentieth century.

Y \’Con estas palabras en el Augusto Res Gestae, su testamento espiritual, nos dio la voluntad del Senado para construir un altar a la paz, como resultado de las empresas que completó al norte de los Alpes, entre 16 y 13 a. C. incluyendo la colocación de redes y Vindel, el control final de los Alpes, una visita a España, finalmente en la paz, la fundación de nuevos asentamientos y la imposición de nuevos impuestos.
El diseño para el nuevo complejo museístico del Ara Pacis fue escrito por Richard Meier & Partners Architects, un estudio realizado en EE.UU. que tiene algunos de los museos más importantes de la segunda mitad del siglo XX.

E\’ con queste parole che Augusto nelle Res Gestae, suo testamento spirituale, ci ha tramandato la volontà del Senato di costruire un altare alla Pace, a seguito delle imprese da lui portate a termine a nord delle Alpi tra il 16 e il 13 a.C., tra cui l\’assoggettamento dei Reti e dei Vindelici, il controllo definitivo dei valichi alpini, la visita alla Spagna finalmente pacificata, la fondazione di nuove colonie e l\’imposizione dei nuovi tributi.
Il progetto per il nuovo complesso museale dell\’Ara Pacis è stato redatto da Richard Meier & Partners Architects, studio statunitense a cui si devono alcuni dei più notevoli musei della seconda metà del Novecento.

Excelente composición especialmente el angulo cual le ánade interés. La tonalidad es muy buena. El hecho de tener la pequeña columna a la izquierda creo que ayuda a crear una buena profundidad de campo. Pienso que si el ambiente te lo hubiera permitido el utilizar un F-stop mas alto podría ver añadido un poco mas de detalle al fondo.
